It's been a wild ride to get here.
One of the things I hope this production journal helps to convey is the fun insanity of touring life. Lord of the Dance has never been shy about showing this -- if you've watched the making-of specials of the original show, Feet of Flames, or Celtic Tiger, you've seen that there's a long history of taking you behind the scenes inside this very unique genre of entertainment -- and every single day brings something new. But what matters is what happens on that stage.
Today's our first performance in Taiwan. It's another sold-out show, this time in Kaohsiung. After a few days off, everyone's itching to get back out onstage and blow the roof off the building.
Taiwan's always been fantastic for Lord of the Dance; the show has a long history here, and it's always a genuine pleasure to perform in this beautiful country. Last time we were here, we brought out Feet of Flames; this time, we're coming at you with Dangerous Games.
It's a title fight tonight. We've got James Keegan as the Lord versus Zoltan Papp as the Dark Lord, with Katrina Costello as Saoirse versus Andrea Papp-Kren as Morrighan. This is going to be a *war.*
Taiwan -- let's dance!
