Follow Your Dream, Day #323: Dancing For Hope All Over the World

Wow! Less than 24 hours since Dance For Hope II was released, featuring the original 1996 Lord of the Dance troupe, and it's taking off in a big way!

We received a note from Michael himself: "It brings back the warmest memories of the brave dancers that took a chance on me when I was down. I’ll love them all forever!!"

Remember, the dancers you see in the OG Troupe were handpicked by Michael. They had an impossible task: go toe-to-toe with Michael's first show -- and win.

And they had only ten weeks to build it.

The rest is history. Lord of the Dance became the billion-dollar dance show, playing at the Oscars, selling out stadiums, and setting records which will probably never be broken, such as the run of 21 sold-out nights at Wembley. For those of you reading this who remember those days, Lord of the Dance wasn't "just" a show; it was a neon-skyscraper statement, fifty stories tall, that said THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT.

That statement still holds true today. And it was the OG Troupe that made it happen. We stand on their shoulders and proudly continue their legacy.
