He, like many more of the troupe's loved ones, had been diagnosed with Dementia. So the troupe have dedicated the surprise viral to him and all of the people lost to coronavirus and dementia and are raising money to support their carers on Just Giving.

Follow Your Dream, Day #329: Dance For Hope II in the News

Wow! How cool is this? Independent.ie has just featured #DanceForHope II with the original 1996 Lord of the Dance troupe! If at all possible, we'd love it if you could please donate to the charities we're supporting with Dance For Hope: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/danceforhope

One of the things we love most about Dance For Hope II is that it ideally inspires people of all ages with a positive high-energy message. Professional Irish dancers today are like Formula One drivers, capable of insane physical feats; but it can be incredibly motivating to see the OG rockstars from the 90's -- older now, with families, jobs, responsibilities -- tearing it up at home with the same hardcore energy that lit the world on fire twenty-four years ago.

In 2045, a quarter of a century from now, you'll see the current troupe doing the same thing.

The dream continues. The dream never dies, so long as we keep on dancing.
