A little over a month from now: #FeetOfFlames. Taiwan.
To achieve this #IrishDance stadium tour, we're going through enormous safety precautions. Covid tests. Quarantine. Everything you can think of. But the end result is something fantastic: 90 performers (including many newly-minted professional Irish dancers), a huge crew, and a fantastic stadium tour on the far side of the world.
This is taking on a life of its own now. With competition #IrishDancing on hold, touring shows of all kind dark, theatres across the world shuttered, Ireland herself in maximum lockdown, and no end yet in sight to this pandemic, it's important to have *something* to look forward to.
Feet of Flames is that something. It's big, it's loud, and it's putting a lot of people to work.
We're currently planning on livestreaming backstage (as we've been doing for the last year and a half) during Feet of Flames, so you'll be able to interact with Team Lord *live* as the show is happening. If you're an Irish dance school reading this and one of your students has just joined Team Lord, make sure to tune in so we can feature your bright young superstar on camera backstage!
2020 has been an incredibly difficult year for everyone. At least we can finish it with a bang, and keep everyone's spirits up -- because there is *always* a light at the end of the tunnel.
Stay focused. Keep dancing. Always move forward. You win by placing one foot in front of the other.
