In 1996, they said Michael Flatley couldn't do it. They said he *shouldn't* do it. They said it was foolish, egomaniacal, predestined to fail.
One-billion dollars later, the truth speaks for itself.
Over the last twenty-four years, literally thousands of performers have come and gone through Team Lord. Some of their stories are well known; others less so. We're changing that. We've used the unexpected downtime of the pandemic to flesh out the tapestry of Lord of the Dance as an ongoing saga -- because the story of this show is the story of the best #IrishDance professionals in the world on a multi-generation journey of a lifetime.
That journey is still alive today.
Those who came before us blazed the trail for us to follow. Those youths training across the world right now, reading these words, look to us to continue the story today. Because Lord of the Dance is the proverbial tip of the spear, pointing the way for the future of commercial #IrishDancing.
That future is earned and paid for through decades of hard work and sacrifice. And that future is bright.
