Follow Your Dream, Day #520: Clydesdales Onstage

Fun fact: did you know Michael Flatley is refurbing Castlehyde, and there's an auction coming up later this month where you can bid on some of his stuff? One of the most interesting items for any #LordOfTheDance fan is the Aston Martin bag that Michael carried his shoes in, pictured here in this excerpt from the making of Feet of Flames in 1998.

If you want to see the full Castlehyde auction catalogue:

Feet of Flames is a *massive* stage set. The one Team Lord uses in Taiwan is a bit different from the one used in Hyde Park, but both are truly gargantuan sets. When you're touring *stadiums* with #IrishDance, you need to have a spectacle -- and Lord of the Dance delivers. Here we go behind the scenes at RAF Bassingbourn in 1998 as Michael sees the Feet of Flames set (well, the bottom half of it, anyway) for the first time.

Feet of Flames Taiwan: December 2020.

Planet Ireland arises: 2021.
