One of the major innovations #LordOfTheDance has brought to commercial #IrishDancing in recent times is the introduction of onstage bodycams, allowing you to see the dance from the inside out as it's performed. Similar to what you might find on Red Bull TV extreme sports programming, placing a #GoPro on a dancer during a live stage show is, to our knowledge, unprecedented in the arts -- and it really does give you a visceral sense of just how high-octane Flatley-style #IrishDance is.
Last month at the prestigious Taipei Arena, #FeetOfFlames was unleashed four times in 48 hours. So far, you've seen #TeamGoodGuy footage; now let's take a look at the action from the point of view of #TeamBadGuy.
To pull this off, we put the camera on Declan Durning -- himself a Dark Lord -- as he performed Warriors, led by Dark Lord Zoltan Papp. (Offhand, this might be the first time one Dark Lord has ever filmed another while both are performing?)
See the dance now as Declan himself saw it on that stage. This is Warriors from #TeamLord's Feet of Flames Impossible Tour, filmed onstage as it was performed.
