I have never ever written in any 'fan' mail before! I have always been inspired by your shows, first Riverdance, then of course Lord of The Dance, I would love to see your last but may have to make do with your BGT performance tomorrow night. What I have to say next might sound a little crazy but I promised myself if things went to plan I would somehow tell you this story! I saw you recently on BBC Breakfast programme, you were of course talking about Dangerous Games and also your paintings. Your paintings were briefly shown on screen, one of them, the beautiful orange one 'The Power' you mentioned that people had told you it bought them luck, so ( I've never done anything like this before) I touched it on the screen.
I felt I needed something, it sounds trivial but I had been trying to sell my house for nearly two years, I have lived 300miles from parents and old friends who live in beautiful Dorset. I have lived in a Northern town with my husband for 30 years and have always dreamt of moving back, due to my husband's job etc it has never happened. Two years ago on reaching semi retirement, I persuaded my husband to put our house on the market, nothing happened. That day I was feeling sad, I have lovely friends where I live, my children are now adults living in London but I felt I would never get moved while my parents are still alive! You can probably guess the rest! That week someone came to view the house, put in an acceptable offer and now I am spending a weekend in my beloved Dorset,
house hunting, my elderly parents are so happy and excited that we are (hopefully) finally coming home. I somehow needed to tell you this! That something powerful is there in your painting! Maybe just my faith in it, who knows! There it is! I've told you now, even though you are probably too busy to read this! I've never done anything like this before and we haven't even reached completion on the house sale!
Finally, I just want to say I am so sorry to hear ( on this page) that you have recently lost your Father, also that if there is anyway I can get to see one of your last shows in London I will, the wonderful inspiration of your fantastic shows will continue. Thank you for your great talent and all your wonderful dancers too. Annie
