Good day,
I just saw the performance of the show in the city of Pachuca, for the second time (the first was many years ago) and I want to express my opinion about it. The dancers are excellent, they have preparation and discipline. They know how to carry out a show of international stature. They are all professionals, the trajectory they have is undeniable, but I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in what I saw.
1.- The scenery (or in this case the projections) are horrible. The quality is terrible and makes the show look less quality.
2.- I think the story is a bit absurd and does not make sense. I do not understand why in a moment there dancers doing playback with violins, in another there are robots and in another they come out doing competitions of push-ups.
3.- Finally, I think the show is completely sexist. Male roles handle them as strong, warlike, virile, powerful, with strong and rough projections. On the other hand, in the womens turn, the projections are of unicorns, rainbows and hummingbirds, with soft and sweet music. The women roles are them extremely delicate or extremely sexy (the number in which all the dancers take off their clothes and begin to dance sensual was completely unnecessary and ridiculous). The "prize" of the main dancer (when he recovers the belt) was to have the most beautiful girl and then he sits down to watch 4 female dancers.
For me it was completely disappointing compared to the show I saw many years ago. I left very upset and felt that I wasted my money on this show. I hope you take my opinion (or at least read it) into account.
Have a nice day.
